Big Sister, Little Sister Easter Activity

At Fahan, our girls thoroughly embrace the Big Sister, Little Sister program a unique initiative that links the students from Kindergarten through to Year 12. The purpose of Big Sister Little Sister is to initiate and built positive relationships between students from different year groups. The program provides the younger girls with a strong and visible support network throughout the school allowing them to move through other areas of the School with confidence, whilst fostering a sense of responsibility amongst the older students.

In April, the whole School participated in a Big Sister, Little Sister Easter themed activity. The program groups the girls in families within their School House groups. The families are named by character strengths such as Bravery, Fairness and Honesty. After assembling in the gym, each family followed the ‘bunny’ footsteps, trailing down to the oval where they enjoyed a special appearance from the Easter Bunny! Connection, laughter and chocolate eggs were shared across the campus, with the morning activity enjoyed by all.
